The RYA Coastal Skipper and
Yachtmaster Course
 
The Course content and duration is about 55 hours, over a period of 7 days.
This syllabus is in far more depth and covers all the topics in the Day Skipper Syllabus, and assumes knowledge to this level. Covering steering beyond day sailing in local waters. From reduction of soundings, to forecasting a sea fog, this course of preparation is for extended coastal cruising and ‘going foreign’.
