Terms and conditions.
Booking |
Booking deposits of £50, which are
deducted from the Course fee, are payable upon the
arrangements and dates for the Course(s) being agreed. These
will be confirmed in writing. The deposit is non-refundable.
If the booking is made within twenty-eight days of the
intended Course(s), start date, the full Course(s) fee is
payable at the time of booking.
All Publications requested are payable in advance, plus if
appropriate, postages and packing.
Holiday Insurance.
Unfortunately Holiday Insurance for cancellations for;
illness, personal problems, bereavements and etc, is not
available, it is strongly recommended that this be obtained
through your own resources.
Block Booking Discounts.
If 2 persons book for the same Course(s) and dates a
discount of 5% per person is applied.
If 3 persons book for the same Course(s) and dates a
discount of 10% per person is applied.
If 4 persons book for the same Course(s) and dates a
discount of 15% per person is applied.
Booking two Courses.
If booking the Dayskipper together with and
continuing on to the Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster Courses,
within a period of six months of the first Course(s) start
date, providing at least two persons book the same Course(s)
and dates, a discount of 15% per person is applied for the
second course.
Dates of Courses.
Once the dates of the Course(s) are arranged and confirmed
they cannot be normally be altered. If the Instructor is
required to cancel the Courses(s) a full refund is made.
If the dates need to be altered this can only be done
strictly by arrangement, and availability, at the discretion
of the Instructor only.
Own Boat Tuition (non RYA)
The owner declares that the vessel is seaworthy in good
condition and all items on board are serviced, serviceable,
and in working order. All necessary charts and pilots are on
board. All safety equipment, flares, harnesses, gas
detectors, fire extinguishers, lifejackets, and for the crew
are supplied. The owner has complete responsibility for the
safety of the vessel and crew at all times. The vessel MUST
be insured. The Tutor takes no responsibility for the owner
or crew. They must behave in a safe and seamanlike fashion
at all times.
Deliveries.
The agency, owner, and or commissioner hereby warranties
that the vessel for collection or delivery is: seaworthy,
equipment supplied serviced, serviceable, vessel in the port
stated, and the designated port to be delivered to,
confirmed. The engine(s), sails, in good working and
serviceable order. Will pay in advance all expenses
estimated to be incurred by the skipper and crew. Also any
unforeseen expenditure deemed essentially necessary by the
skipper to be paid upon completion of delivery.
